Religion:\u00a0 <\/strong>I’ll claim membership in the ever growing category of Spiritual But Not Religious (SBNR).\u00a0 I’ve found that organized religion can cause cognitive dissonance (an internal fight between two opposing views, usually dogmatic and personal) and the only way out is to ignore one’s teachings, or ignore one’s conscience.\u00a0 This makes for a house divided.\u00a0 Spirituality lets me keep what works and discard what doesn’t.\u00a0 I like the Pagan seasonal celebrations & Buddhist teachings and am a Priestess in the Western Mystery Tradition.<\/p>\n
